5/29/23 post: Early today, I saw this turtle laying egg(s) on Pine Tree Lane. It appears to be a yellow bellied slider...a large turtle! Pam B.

3/16/22 post: On March 13 I replaced a worn out bird house with one donated to us by Sam F. It's located on Brookwood at the corner of the apartments and the Wellness Center. We now have blue birds in the house in front of our cottage, so they're here and seeking homes. Thanks, Sam. Dave M. 2/19/22 post: I saw a duck on the pond on Tuesday morning, Feb 17, 2022. I have learned that other birdwatchers have seen ducks as well. At the moment these birds are transients. My hope is that families are close behind. Time for walks around the pond! Dag E-N.
